Reddit is more mixed than G2. Users agree the workflows save time and turn SEO and AEO work into a repeatable process, but one early user found setup hard and says proper support needed a higher plan, and others doubt how far AI visibility reports can be trusted or how long the advantage lasts.

Cohort participant, cautious about the reports

I've participated in the AirOps' cohort and experimenting currently. Hopefully, I'll be able to see some traction within the next couple of months. The very basic concept is that some of your existing content might need updates to become more visible and easier to extract and cite by LLMs. That might include cleaner structure, schema markeup, tables, EEAT, stuff like that. AirOps guides you through these updates and helps you implement them faster via content engineering. From there, the platform generates visibility and citation reports, and as far as I see, they definitely show the effect of updated content -- i.e. the content I've already optimized for LLMs seems to get cited more often, according to the reports. But there is no way to check any of that because LLMs generate unique responses, customized for each user, so I don't rely on these reports 100%. The other part of the puzzle is getting your product out there via PR, public reviews, etc -- which is still the part of the job where humans, not robots are better at.

Workflows over prompts for SEO and AEO

I’ve been in SEO long enough to remember Excel hell, competitor page by page, and rewriting the same brief five times. Over the last few weeks, I tested AirOps pretty seriously, as a way to systematize SEO and AEO work. The biggest shift for me was how the work is structured. … Single prompts fall apart once you have more than two or three steps. AirOps forces you to break SEO and AEO into atomic tasks, such as SERP analysis, gap finding, briefing, drafting, and optimization. That alone reduces chaos. … The win is not that AI writes faster. It’s that research, briefs, and optimization stop being manual one-offs. The same workflow can run across 10 or 500 topics, keywords, URLs... … I’m still early and very much experimenting, but this is the first platform where SEO and AEO felt like an operational system instead of a pile of prompts and browser tabs.

Saves time, but short-term value

We use AirOps and it's great. It's content workflow saves time but I don't see it being a long term solution. We'll all be able to set it up. They're desperately trying to build out their solution to make it more relevant - with off-site and reporting but it's all short term value.

Hard setup, support behind higher plans

I’ve used AirOps pretty early on (back when they first launched), so sharing my experience in case it helps. What didn’t work for me was mainly the setup. I’m not very technical, and getting workflows live wasn’t straightforward. Support was another issue. You basically had to upgrade plans just to get proper help. Over time they also removed things like exporting workflows between projects, which made it painful to reuse work. When I looked at alternatives, N8N really stood out. N8N has been around for a long time and is very flexible. I needed help from a technical teammate to set things up, but once that was done, it worked well for new content workflows and refresh workflows based on wireframes I shared. One big advantage is cost. If you self-host n8n, the pricing can drop quite a bit compared to managed tools, which makes it a solid option if you have the technical bandwidth. Happy to share more context on either if helpful. Feel free to DM.
