Profound alternatives, matched to why you're switching

Disclosure: this site reviews AirOps and earns a commission if you sign up for it through our links. AirOps is one option below, and we say where it isn't the right fix.
Why buyers look past Profound
Profound is the best-funded company in AI search tracking, but it has very few public user reviews: no G2 listing we could find and one Trustpilot review, and Gartner Peer Insights blocked our pull. So the reasons below come from its own published terms rather than a review sample.
Three things send buyers elsewhere. It lists only a free trial and custom Enterprise pricing, so there is no self-serve paid plan. The trial runs 50 preset prompts daily for 7 days across three engines, and you can't customize them. And its strength is measurement, so teams whose gap is producing content may want a tool built for that.

The 6 best Profound alternatives
AirOps
Best for acting on what you trackAirOps tracks AI visibility (ChatGPT on Solo, 7+ engines on Pro) and, unlike a pure tracker, gives you workflows that research, write, refresh, and publish the content that closes the gaps, with human review and native CMS publishing. It is rated 4.7 out of 5 on G2 from 134 reviews and has Solo and Pro plans below Enterprise. The trade-offs: it doesn't publish prices either, and reviewers describe a steep learning curve. The 14-day trial needs no payment details.
